I know these have been mentioned here and there as to quality, but seeing as how Lowes (in Maine anyway) is carrying them and at least the Windham Lowes will price match HD's sale ($269/ton with -$50 for 2 tons, -$100 for 3 tons, -$150 for 4 tons, and -$200 for 5 tons plus flat rate $65 delivery within 25 miles) I figured there would be or should be a lot of interest in them.

So those that have tried them, please let us know what you thought. I would really like to purchase a QUALITY Maine pellet and a 5 tons they come out to be $242/tons delivered.

Thanks ~ Jeff

Buy em, they might end up being collectors items if they don't rebuild the mill.

I only got to burn a few bags this spring, they seemed hot, no excessive ash, and very few fines in the bag. I think they will be a winner, hopefully they're not short lived. I've got 6 tons of them, so I would feel safe buying them.

It's my first season with a pellet stove, so I don't have much experience with much yet, but I am burning Maine Chioce and have 3 tons in the garage. They are burning good for me and seem to have very little ash and very residue when I dump a bag to fill the hopper. I also noticed that when my hopper is low there is just a very fine residue to vacuum up when I clean my stove. I purchased mine I think in August for $249 a ton at TSC (not delivered)
