Map locations? google map

Any body know how to do this?
Is there an interest to do one for our forum?
Locations don't need to be exact, some pin point a city close. some right on the house. Some don't want on the map at all.
If interested, I'd help if I knew how.

I'm there in Alaska, by Wasilla, close location.

Been started and pretty much died a couple of times over the years.

I think its vaguely interesting, but its much more useful in my opinion if people would just put their actual town of residence in their forum profile.
