She's not too bad for a saw with an inboard clutch .
Nice looking saw.
Where does it fit into the gamut with all the other saws.
Does it fill a niche that the others didn't?
Hey, where's the saw pr0n alert? My eyes have been scandalized!
Nope, it doesn't really . It's just one of the saws I've always wanted . Being as its ported , it's one heck of a fun saw to run ! She's really a very responsive little beasty .
Good looking saw, I recently picked up a 460 myself, but have yet to really run it.
Its ones my all time favorite.............
Anybody who owns a 372XP, 044 (or 440), AND a 460 has Stage 4 CAD. What? All those saws are professionally ported too? Jeez, No hope for this guy. (Tosses his scrubs in the trash.)
Just meens hes still chasing the high. You never get higher than best saw! For me I should have stop with the 460. Stage 4 cad hes to far gone. Now north of 120 cc or bust!
Does stage 5 CAD involve nitromethane?
No, that was what to me was per-cad . 2cycle RC engines , tuned pipes, 25% nitro........then I bought my first really good saw, the 044.
Hey Nixon, who ported that dog? She's a nice looker, post a vid of it under load if you can. I'd love to hear it working. A C
Terry Landrum ported it . If I ever figure out the pic posting thing, I'll start on the videos next .
Ahhhh, and it says those three little words that I love on a Stihl saw....Made In Germany.
All the ones sold here say that or Made in the USA.
Take a good look at the pro saws. Last 460 i look at (about 4 months ago) Still say made in Germany.
It was a new saw wasn't it? I don't think he even ran it stock. Did ya' Nixon?
MS440 and up are German, MS362 I dunno any more. Everything else is Made in USA (Virginia Beach) if it's sold here.
Check the serial #'s. First digit =1 then it's German, 2 = USA.
My 034 says made in West Germany on it.
Nope , never ran it before it was ported .
I never ran mine stock either.
But the big ones say Germany.
