looks like tomorrow afternoon through Tuesday are gonna be the worst cold snap of the season (so far) so it's time to get your burn on!!

Lol, I know some of you are unfazed by what the weather brings, but for the rest of us. . . .

It's been above average temps up here since the weekend(big coastal storm last weekend is still hanging out off the coast). Been warmer up here than it has down thru southern New England.Had days as high as 37, couple of nights only went down to 32, kinda strange for us. This weekend we're only looking at single #'s maybe zero at night. Sipping wood off the pile, love it.

By the looks of the national forecast for the next week or so, some of them folks down in Dixie might be wishing that they were burning wood ! LOL Must be that darn global warming rearing its ugly head .... again !?

Up here in da U.P. its been about average, or maybe slightly above normal. Still no brutally cold ...yet. For the last 2 years or so the really cold stuff ( -20 to -30F ) seems to arrive in mid February.
