This just is not right 49 this morning (house at 59) fired the stove up to get the chill out so the wife had a warm hous to come home to. Now it 82 outside and she had the a/c on. got to love the fall and living in Buffalo NY.

Some folks will hold off til the absolute numb has settled into their fingers, before firing up their wood stoves. It was 43ºF this morning here, and I lit the stove at 4 AM. Threw a couple of smaller splits on the fire at 7 AM just before leaving for work. The wife let it die down. Top temps today were 72ºF.

No harm, no foul.........no matter what anyone says.........just don't let it smolder...........
