Moved a load of wood from the old house today

It's amazing how much lighter it is after it's been sitting in the sun for 2 years. I wish I had a way to record the ring you get when 2 dry splits hit each other. I think if people knew what it sounded like they wouldn't worry as much about having a moisture meter.

Yeah - kind of like hitting the handle of a butter knife on a wine glass - but without the glass breaking.

I was able to get a second load and only have about 1 1/2 cord left. This weather is great for March and I'm going to take advantage of it.
