Congratulations and Enjoy the Heat from that Monster!!!!! ;-P

Id be keeping that Tech/Service guys #. He seems like a stand-up person to be willing to do what he did on a day like today. Hope he gets what he wants for Christmas too (Maybe a Day Off?- LOL).

Thanks all. I had the thermostat set to 75 and it just shut down after running for about an hour and a half.

I would have been livid! At least your installer was professional and conscientious, unlike mine was.

Thanks to everyone in this forum over the years, I was able to correct all of his mistakes.

Good luck and I hope your stove is up and running by Christmas.

So glad it's working now. It looks great. Merry Christmas to you and your wife!
  13. All worked out in the end. X-Mas Eve and you are warm. This would have been a tragic fail if they couldn't get the part till 2012.

    Thanks guys.

I feel warmer than I ever have in this house. Granted, it's not terribly cold today - but the chill I've always felt is gone.

I am burning C&C Smith Lumber's Wood Pellet Company pellets. I bought 3 tons. Going to get a half-ton of Great Americans as well.

Now that. the issue is resolved and your up in running, do you still consider it an epic fail?

Understandable frustration. Good dealers ought to see all of that stuff coming, counsel the customer through it.. extra charges and all (it is an opportunity for more profit) then work with the contractors for total customer satisfaction.

After it's all over, you'll find you got a great stove and you will be loving the new addition.

PS really classy looking unit, if it works anywhere as good as it looks you'll be warm and stylin'!
