Now that was quite a storm!

Underneath the two oaks are a couple of smaller trees.

And of course the one that I was most worried about (obvious lightening damage and a carpenter ant infestation in the damaged area) came through the storm fine.

Go figure.....

Lots of good stuff to be had there, more than enough to keep you busy for a little while! In a couple of years when that oak seasons out, you'll remember this storm as your chucking that wood into the stove....
 
Got a few good cord of oak there, look nice nice straight trees too so easy splitting!
 
Paredown it looks like you have some excellent firewood there! We still have plenty from the July storm. Some came out with the roots while others broke off maybe halfway up. Work for this winter.
