I drilled a hole in my wall for the thimble and came across an electrical wire running horizontal in my wall. I was able to pull the wire down around the bottom of the shield for the wall thimble. My question is will that wire be shielded enough or will it need to be moved? also have insulation and wood around the thimble.

Your lucky you didn't hit it! As long as it does "NOT" touch the thimble you should be fine! Get as much slack from both sides and create a bow where the thimble is. Keep as much clearance as possible between them.
