Well after Sandy blew through I went out Tuesday and came into some nice red oak. The tree blew down and the homeowners were more than happy to have me remove it. I scored a little Silver Maple as well which is good because I don't have much wood that will be ready for next winter (13/14).

How did you folks make out with wood?

Nice score.
Many who want wood should be in good shape in the effected area.
Get what you can.
Getting ahead when you can is important & it feels good too ;) :)
