    Defiant- aha! my trap is sprung. Note that there are 2 types of leaves- the smaller ones are attached to the plant with the beans (that was the trick)

    Bill is right
    A wisteria vine hanging on a catalpa- the pods were actually the wisteria, not the catalpa! Took me a few when I saw it
