#2 is a Chinese Chestnut........not sure on the others though!

#3 looks like an Indian Cigar Tree, also known as a Catalpa Tree

Scotty- correct!
Fossil- correct!
Defiant- aha! my trap is sprung. Note that there are 2 types of leaves- the smaller ones are attached to the plant with the beans (that was the trick)

OK definitely a Locust, black at that.

Here's a clue- there's 2 types of leaves in the picture (I knew I could be an ass with this one)

4) Persimmon

I don't even know. Pics online look like the persimmon doesn't have that heart shaped leaf

#3 is a :censor: wisteria tree

A wisteria vine hanging on a catalpa- the pods were actually the wisteria, not the catalpa! Took me a few when I saw it

So I had the correct tree initially??
