Mods- I know this post should be in "the picture perfect" but people probably wont see it there. Could we leave it here for a few days until folks see it?

Hey all. Its the Wood-fan-atic. I cannot tell you all how much you have helped me to become a better wood burner. When I first got here a year or so ago...I was pretty sure I knew most of what there was to know about heating with wood. Well - I had NO IDEA just how much that I DIDNT KNOW! Little by slowly, you have all changed the way I do things--- from cutting and splitting (sorry, Dennis - Horizontal is the ONLY way!), to seasoning and stove operation - there is not one aspect of wood heat that I dont feel so much more knowledgeable about NOW because of all your contributions. So....thankyou all.
There is just one thing - just like the credit card commercial with the woman talking to customer service "This is Peggy" -- It would be nice to KNOW who it is that is helping you ---- a face to go with the very familiar names (and some not so familiar ). I realize that for privacy or other reasons, some might not want to post pics of themselves or their families. I just know that I would very much like to put faces to those names.
So, if anyone cares - here is me - and my wife - and my son. There is another baby on the way (pic included)

Very nice looking family, w-f-a. I vaguely remember being about that young :-/ ...but I was never that good looking. I guess you may not have seen this other thread in the Hearth Room:

    http://www.hearth.com/econtent/index.php/forums/viewthread/67803/

I can merge your post with that thread, or just leave it right where it is for now...your call. Rick

No gzecc...unfortunately, you are correct - that is NOT where I live.....yet! These pics were taken last fall on our yearly B and B vacation to N.E...... Jackson N.H., to be exact. In the heart of the White mountains..... I love it there....its SOOOO NICE!

Appearently, there already WAS a pic post like this last January. I must have been tending to the stove, or watching football, either way - I missed it. Rick was nice enough to post the link - and offered to leave this one here for awhile -- SO - if you would like -- LETS SEE THOSE PICS

Hey Wood, you make a handsome couple indeed. Will be even better when the little one gets here. Good to know we helped you out, or some of us did. Evidently I did not do my job well though as you still have to learn the proper way to do the splitting.

This picture was taken at the Woodstock Factory last September. Look for that homely fellow wearing the Woodstock vest (that thing is nice!). His wife is standing on his right. Those youngsters are not ours but we'd gladly adopt them. They belong to another fellow who gets on this forum but if he is introduced, it will be by himself. Sadly most of the folks had already left the party or we'd had even more in the picture. But these are mostly Woodstock employees. I will identify the owner, Tom, who is on the far left.
