did you check and make sure the warranty has not expired as of yet? Also, if you were having these issues at the end of the season (within the warranty period...) i wonder why you didn't approach the dealer who sold it to you, if you bought it from a dealer....
Aside from this issue how reliable has this stove been ?
EDIT: i just saw you bought it in June 08, so electronics warranty is over.

we tried contacting the napoleon company and they said 1 year electricial warranty, it has been good until this problem
