Ha, it worked...
Got a Sony camera from the girlfriend for christmas, just a regular digital but shot a pretty good video. Took this a couple days ago, stove was running about 650*
EDIT:
Attatched a picture that was taken right before the video. Had the flash on so it washed out all the flames and you can see the wood load perfectly.
