I'm repainting an outside wall on my house and want to get a moisture meter to accurately know how dry the wood is. Since I also have many piles of firewood, I'm sure I can use it for that, too. ANy suggestions for an accurate moisture meter that costs $50 or less? I won't be using it every day, so I don't need to spend $300.

Thank you.

Harbor Freight ~ $14.00. Lowes ~ $30.00. My son has one and I have the other. Both seem to work OK.

Lowes for $30 easy to use and works great
