We recently bought a used grizzly insert. We have the manual , but it is very unclear on how to engage the catalyst. It would really help to get an answer from someone with the same model. FPI-1LEX. We have read that you need to close the damper but all we have is a rod that inserts in a tube in the top of the stove, and it doesn't seem to catch anything like pushing a door closed . We have even felt around and don't feel any flaps or hinges where the damper is. We bought a new catalyst and really want it to work but not sure how. I did read on this forum where someone has the same stove but there is no info given about this issue.
