Recently bought a home with a great Vermont Casting Wood stove. I notice that the gasket on one of the two doors is old and one section is completely missing. I can see the red from the fire at the bottom of the door.

I can not locate a proper gasket for this model or anyone to service it. I live in Peterborough, NH.

Any leads or advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks!.

It should be 5/16" rope gasket that you can pick up at a local stove shop.

yes the manual says 5/16 inch 7 feet of it for defiant. might be the same for yours
