Need some help with Pellet Master auger speed

Well I picked up a used 1991 Pellet Master I got it hooked up and seems to all work but I cant get the auger too change. It comes on about every 45 sec and turns the auger a little more then 1/2 a turn. On start mod or on run this is as fast as it gets. What controls the timing? There are 2 switches on the control board 1 is black and slides up and down with 4 setting and 1 is a 6 pin side to side switch. What do these control and what should they be set to? Any help would be great.
