    Check your local craigslist. You should find plenty of folks selling wood.

    I would also check to see if you have any nearby sawmills. If so, check with them. Sawmills often have seasoned and/or kiln-dried scraps that they sell at reasonable prices. Good luck.

    Jean McCray (?) tree service. I just got some premium, truly seasoned wood from him. He gave me what I thought was pretty fair deal. (then went 1 better because we realized we have some mutual friends) I'm really not sure how to spell his name though, that was a guess. I'm up in Southampton.
