Oak, need to split some please so we can see inside, try to pick out a couple of better pieces to take pics of....
 
I'm not the best at distinguishing between oaks, but I do agree that is for sure a form of oak.

Split some of those into larger rectangular or square splits, and in 3 years they will be great for overnight burns.
 
Maybe it is red oak? The whiteish bark color is throwing me off ?

That whitish color is not bark, that is moss or some type of lichen.
