Just got my newsletter from Southern Maine Renewable Fuel and big news: "To announce the addition of Vermont Super Premium 100% Softwood Pellets from Clarendon, Vt." They are $299 a tone.
Too Bad I have 3 Ton of PWI, 2 Ton of ME Wood Softwood and 2 1/2 Ton of ME Wood Blend. Wish now I had waited until now. Only good news is I got the PWI on sale. Oh well there is always next year, of course I will have to pick a few bags to stash away and try when the real cold comes.

I sure wouldn't pay $300/ton for imports when I can get local for $230
