I pulled the trigger on the liner, a deluxe terracotta cap, and the outrageously expensive "adapter" to connect my insert to the liner.

I installed my insulated liner from ChimneyDepot a month ago. It is pretty easy if the exhaust port on the insert lines up with the liner coming through the chimney. Otherwise you may need an offset box. Other than that, the insert install was a piece of cake, and we had the maiden fire earlier this week. :)
