If you could help me, have you ever seen these little fireplace they have in New Mexico, up around Taos.

They are little, built of stonework, I believe, but incredibly efficient.



Answer:

Maybe they are KIVA fireplaces or a similar style. There is an organization on the net called the masonry heater association that should have more info. Try http://www.mha-net.org/
