Today I found myself cursing not having a short screwdriver  ( I did but it was a long ways off ) when I looked over and saw my chainsaw case ==c. It became a distributor cap removal tool !

Pete, those little orange screwdrivers Stihl includes with their saws were some of the most useful tools ever made. Ground them into picks, bent them into hooks, used them for prybars, chisels, etc. .... ;lol

I have several of them. Getting low, better order another box of 100.==c

Wow, have not seen a distributor cap since the 1980 Ford Fairmont bit the dust in 1998. Brings back good and bad memories, or what one can call nostalgia.

GM Pickups had them all the way up till the early 2000's when they finally retired the BBC/SBC and introduced the LS engines and the 8.1L.

Pete, it sounds like you need a Leatherman. Extremely handy tool. I seem lost without one.
