Newbie needs advice on Napoleon pellet insert

Been trying to do my due diligence and research the Napoleon NPi40 pellet insert. We have a 1700sq foot ranch and wondering if this is a good choice for us. I am having trouble finding ANY independent reviews so wanted to pose the question to some consumers. I know this model is rated up to 2000 sq ft, would we rather go up to a larger model for better economy or will this be adequate as a heating supplement so we can turn down our oil boiler over the NY winter?
