Question:

I would like to make my own fire-logs out of newspaper, but do not know how! Could you provide me with directions on where I would go (internet) or where I could mail to find out more?

I have bought an antique log roller and would like to recycle my newspapers into fire-logs.

Thanks for your help.

Answer:

This type of log does not burn well, and probably is not worth your time. You can try to dampen the paper a bit, which will make it roll easier....But I don't know anyone that enjoys burning these logs in an open fireplace.
