Does anyone out there use just a tarm wood boiler and no backup fuel? I am thinking about it. I would have pressurized storage. By the way .. how much is Tarm selling there new pressurized storage for?

No back-up heat is an option but it limits your ability to go away. If your heat load is small and you had 1000 gals of storage you could probably leave it for a few days but you would be taking a risk.

Tarms pressurized tank pricing:
440 gallon-$6,000
660 gallon-$8,500

It will be much less expensive to build your own storage system.

...or buy a used LP tank in good but retired condition.
