I have a Breckwell P23 that is not feeding pellets. The cylinder in the motor spins freely and when it should but does not turn the shaft of the auger. For the past couple of weeks there would be an intermittent squeal when the auger kicked in that usually only happened for the first few cycles after start up and would then go away. Now it does not squeal at all or feed pellets. Any suggestions?

sounds like a loose setscrew attaching the drive to the auger , or worst case maybe a stripped gear in the drive

How do you remove the auger motor and gearbox on a p23? I got the motor off but the gearbox and auger itself stayed in place.

Found the problem, stripped gear in gearbox. Anybody know if the gearbox can purchased seperately from the motor, the motor seems to be fine.
