I have a majestic gas fire place model # RHE32 RFN and the pilot light makes an annoying wheezing sound when it is light. I have tried turning the pilot light down but when I adjust it low enough to not make a sound the fireplace seems to not work properly. I have tried to clean the pilot assembly and re-assemble it but have had no luck. Does this mean I need a new pilot light assembly or is one of the two thermopile's beside the pilot light defective.

When is the last time you had the tanks filled? Do not rule out line blockage, ever hear of a gas spider?
