Yes, I think more people will go to wood heat.
But in the end, burning wood is lots more work.
Not just a way to heat a house, it is practically a lifestyle.
Cut the wood, split the wood, stack the wood, burn the wood, all the time cleaning durring the burning process.
It is not for everybody.
 
I see an awful lot of chimneys with smoke coming out of them these days. Hopefully there are as many with no smoke that I don't even know about. :)
