Just the Way It Is.... Old forum Poll numbers not matching in new forum

Noticed the poll numbers in thread link below do not match the original numbers that were recorded on the old forum format.

Problem confirmed. I think you may have found a bug in the importer. I am investigating.

I don't think that one is of primary importance.....heck, we probably have polls asking if folks are gonna vote for GW or Kerry.....

I found the bug. It's difficult to fix after-the-fact, and since it's not important to you...

It appears that imported poll votes all got shifted by one option. So a poll like this:

option A = 3 votes
option B = 4 votes
option C = 2 votes

Is imported like this:

option A = 7 votes
option B = 2 votes
option C = 0 votes

The first two option votes are combined into one, and all others move up one.

Yeah, it's not important - we have had very few polls over the years and they turn over quick...

At least you can save the notes for the next guys - if there ever is one!
