A buddy recommended Omni-grip which is a pre-mixed thinset for under the tiles. I'm curious if there are any problems with using this stuff compared to the normal thinset under my stove?

It doesn't say anything on the tub that I can see about temperatures. I just wanted to know if anyone here knew anything.

Thanks!

I used it to set my slate tiles on my hearth, no problems so far. Into 5th burning season
