    Bark says sweet gum but inside is soft maple. Soft maple it is for me. Burns good as we use a lot of it and save our oak, ash, hedge and so on for cold nights and cold days. Some will say shouler season but we burn all year long, plenty of heat a dries in 1 year from split.
