    I think I nailed this one, The secondaries are not raging and wasting wood, stove top was 550. No smoke coming from chimney. No glowing tubes

    I had dancing blue flames this morning but mine was reading 750 don't know what was coming out of the chimney never looked.

    I am, I learned I had to damper down quicker and not starve the fire for air, very fine line.

    I was the one in control of the stove it was a beautiful fire and my house was cold when i got up.

    To compare it was like driving a Mustang about 115 and hold the road.
