I have ordered more than I can store indoors. Am I correct in assuming I can leave pallets outside if they are not opened and given additional coverage with a tarp? Any other tips would be appreciated?

I leave my entire stash outside all winter. When they are delivered, I have the pallets set on other pallets, so I can get a little more distance off the ground.
I leave the plastic bag almost entirely complete & remove the shrink wrap from the pallet I'm using. I cover the entire pile with a tarp & bungee it fairly tightly,
with only a small access to the stash.
