I've always had a problem burning my Quadrafire woodstove in the basement. I have to crack a window open to light the stove. After the draft has started and the fire is going I can close the window.
I'm expecting my new TarmSolo 40 next week and getting everything ready. Has anyone had to add outside air to the boiler? I understand Tarm didn't make any provisions for this. Will the downdraft fan suffice or should I pipe in some air?
