So... I feel a little stupid asking this question.. I have had my stove for two heating seasons now. I was cleaning around the stove today and saw that my OAK has numbers and adjusts.. _g.. Shows how observant I am.. I assume this is to adjust the amount of outside air draw.. How is it best to titrate this?

I would leave it open full unless you are having an overfire situation.
 
It has been fully open since it was installed.. I am surprised.. But not surprised at the same time that the installer didn't mention it.. Good thing it was open!
