Question:

any information on woodstoves that are outside of home and piped in to the home to heat water& home. excessive smoke is a major concern.

Answer:

Most, if not all of these outdoor waterstoves can create excess smoke. If you have close neighbors and/or mind the smell of smoke around your place, you might want to consider other solutions.

Check out the clean burning units at http://www.woodboilers.com/ - Maybe you can install one in a garage or other outbuilding.
