Took a peek at craigslist yesterday, long story short, lady had 10 cords, already cut from 16"to18" rounds, anywhere from 15" to 32" around. We got approx 5 cords between yesterday and today, all dropped off at my friends house, who was closest to the location. There is still a ton there, red oak, and ash. She is having another red oak and ash felled in 2 weeks. Sorry for the crappy pics, it was getting dark out.

I can't believe it either! Was a pita to get, basically up a hill, had to roll down it and around boulders the size of busses. Damn worth it though! Pile of rounds are 25 ft long, 10ft wide, and 4 ft tall

Excellent score! I have a 1/2 cord or so ash for next year but burned a few pieces already here and there and I love it. I think I'd be happy if that was all I ever had.

Up hill, both ways, around boulders in the wind, snow & rain. LOL :)
    Still would've been worth it.
After the wind, snow & rain stop, pictures? LOL :)

Nice score WS, I had a score like that 2 years ago, 11 trees cut all into rounds, mostly oak with some maple, Im burning the maple from that score right now then onto the oak for the dead of winter, all nice splits, cant beat that, after all that lugging splittings gonna be fun.

Good job Wellseasoned, gotta love it when you don't even have to fire the saw up and that ash is great firewood. Burning some right now! Show is some pics.of that pile after you get it split up.

Nothing like a good piece of ash! Especially that blond ash! Even if she's in big 'rounds'! ;)
