I can get 8 hours on a load of good hard woods (hickory, oak varieties, etc.) That's from loading a full charge on an established coal bed to waking up 8 hours later with a stove around 250F and plenty of coals for a restart without starting from scratch, so to speak.
 
@ 8-9 hrs for either stove. Heat output @ 70k btu for either. They are pretty much the same unit, but from 2 different manufactures. Either will be a choice you will be happy with... although the PE does give you more options to choose from and is usually less $.
