That is correct.
I sprayed it down with the high temp spray and it looks so much better!
pics or it didn't happen...
So it appears and paid a visit to MommyOf4.
Who is Carl? The only man visiting me is my husband.
And that was said that as she stood with hands on her hips, moving her head side to side, and a "stern" tone.
I'm going to let my husband spray the rest of it. Lol
Carl is fellow who did stove installations and didn't do that good of a job, it seemed to Scott that he was always correcting Carl's messes.
Mommyof4, the question I have at this point are these:
1. Is the stove burning OK and without any smoke in the room, and
2. did you get around to replacing that computer surge strip with something better, like the TrippLite UltraBlok I mentioned way back in the beginning of this thread?
So the paint adhered to the red silicone ok?
1) There was a little bit of smoke in the beginning, but I was informed that it could've been the lubricant burning off. We checked for carbon monoxide and it was fine.
So far it's holding up well.
Carl began his legacy here: http://www.hearth.com/talk/threads/epic-installation-i-work-behind-this-guy-on-a-regular-basis.55884/
it's also a thread visited by pook, a long time thread heckler which makes for a great read!
I miss pook.
I just read this thread from the beginning. You guys rock. Patience, good advice with explanations, pictures, follow up, referrals, and a satisfactory finish. Another satisfied Hearth customer!
Me too....it was so much fun, with all the anticipation of what wild idea or thing he'd come up with....LOLOLOL
Not to hijack this thread, but Scott im still wipeing the tears from my eyes from the laughter. I can not believe someone would really do this. I am at a lost for words right now.
