The Raymond Fire Department is investigating the total damage to a home that became filled with smoke overnight.

Just before midnight, fire crews went to a house that was reported to be full of smoke.

When crews arrived to the house in the 2900 block of W Branched Oak Road, they found the person living there had already gotten out. The resident was treated at the scene and released according to Firefighter/EMT Luke Ballmer.

Ballmer said they found lots of smoke and determined the cause to be a problem with a pellet stove used to heat the house. Fans were used to air out the house.

The total damage is unknown at this time.
