Thanks, Lew......but hey, their pellets were cheap, werent they?!

Thanks for that link. Yet another lesson in pellet buying...Never ever purchase from some place that takes your money before delivery. The better places will not cash your check/charge your credit card, until after delivery. The headache, heartache and frustration these places have caused is ridiculous.

It is actually illegal in most states for them to cash a check or charge your card before rendering a service or providing a product.

The country is over run with a glut of pellets this year. Why anyone would go this route is beyond me. Prices now are cheaper than any pre-season sales...

yea, pellets are pretty common these days, but back when Aleegany was selling them, noone knew what would happen.......would they be common, like they are now? or, would it be like the previous year, when they were nearly impossible to get? Who knew?

I think the pellet supplier charging the day the service were to be performed wouldnt be too bad......from a supplier perspective, I'd hate to deliver some pellets only to find out the card was maxxed, OR, deliver the pellets and try to get payment from someone who isnt home, even though they said they would be......
