I've test burned a few bags in my boiler, burned great, I had never have burned a softwood pellet before. I visited the mill, talked to the owners, real nice people, really concerned with the quality of the pellets they produce.

Those are some REALLY impressive numbers, if the tests are accurate, and quality is consistent. Keep us posted, hopefully they'll grow and get some up my way.

That's great news Wil. As Hoss said, those are great numbers. Keep the forum posted, and maybe you can find out from the owners what their plans are for sending the pellets to other areas......namely MINE!

Is this the pellet place in Clarendon, VT (can't get their web site from here)? If it is I live about a mile from there. I plan on burning a few bags from there to test as well. If anyone wants an info from them let me know and I could drive over there and find out.

Vermont Wood Pellet is making pellets from LOCAL wood supplies, and is keeping distribution local... Their delivery/distributor -Bordeau Bros. in Middlebury are willing to deliver bags and bulk into most all counties in Vt. BUT at this time not out of Vt. Chris and Kate developed that mill with there own -w/ help from family, money.
