Hey guys just wondering on my stove adapter it just slides over the outlet of my stove. I was wondering is there a way to seal it off better or do you just leave it. I've always felt it to not be a tight enuf seal around it.

Use some furnace cement to create a seal. I put a fat bead around the inner corrugated joint that slips into the stove collar and screwed it on.

I slide mine off once or twice a year to clean so I do not put cement on it. it burns fine without it being completely sealed.

Mine burns fine but don't like the idea of air being able to get in there from there.

Dont see an issue with mine and would not want to seal it in a way that would make it hard to remove. Over concerned maybe? I am sure if any flue system was pressure tested we would see plenty of minor air leaks. I find myself to be very cautious while still trying to enjoy the stove without over thinking every possible problem. Not knocking you for asking though.
