I purchased the humidifer insert a couple days ago for my Piazzetta Monia, for $59 you don't get much, basically a small stainless steel rectangular container. It doesn't hold much water, but my wife mixed some Christmas type spices with the water and makes for a nice air freshener.

The one in the Elena is basically a device for potpourri. Glad it was not a option to be paid for. $60 can buy a lot of candles

What do you recommend?
at first I took the front convection grid out and put in a cake mold ( 8 time the size of the original one) on top of that metal plate ( from a Sabrina model ) and put the grid back on. I could refill the mold with water from that top ceramic part twice a day that was to much. If customer need a humidifier, I choose to go for an external one. I finally brought an Honeywell at Canadian Tire for less then 50$.

I had a little regret after ordering it and seeing the product, but the restocking fee was too high to return. So I've ended up with a very expensive air freshener
