I think they were once Wood Doctor. Went under and are now Polar. Not sure about the details but I would investigate carefully.

Hrm, interesting to hear. Had 'requested info' from them out of a quick search of furnaces that were EPA phase 2....anyhow the salesman Dave called me and offered to ship direct with a big discount since there are no dealers around here for $500 freight. Agree, there seem to be more reputable companies (!!) after searching Wood Doctor.
