Just looking for ideas of what the wife and I are looking for.

I may install a Regency CS1200 or a Jotul 400 castine.

Seem to like the natural stone look.

I get lots of comments on the wall shield. It's tin ceiling tiles. Drywall "J" channel on the edges, painted black.
12 x 12 slate on the hearth with mosaic border.
hearth pad is steel studs - layer of sheet metal - 3 layers of durarock - tile

That looks great.

Interesting way to vent into the other room. Very creative ways to make it work!
