Hi guys, I've been searching for an answer, but haven't found it yet, so I thought I would ask. You guys helped me last year with a question on my old Aurora that came with my house. I found a used Buck Model 50 insert, and was wondering if a liner could be attached to it? I read the manual from the Buck Stoves website and it doesn't mention attaching one when the stove is used as an insert.
Would you recommend using a liner to vent through my chimney or can I go as is? I have a Cap Cod style home, 1-1/2 story technically, but would measure as a 2-store home. Is there anything I am not thinking of here? My chimney is pretty clean, as I didn't run my Aurora last year much, it was a beast to get started and burn, then when it did, it just ate through the wood.
Also, does anyone know the efficiency rating of the Model 50? I know it is a catalytic stove.
Thanks guys
