Hi guys.

I went to two hearth stores and have been told that the material would cost me
Stand Alone Stove: 1.6k-2k
the Hearth Pad: 500Dollars
The Tube needed for inside and outside: 800
Install Fee: 500
Total Cost = ~3600 ish. (all out of my pocket-via credit cards)

SO, i found out that homedepot sells the
Englander 3,000 Sq for 1.7k
the Hearth Pad: 500Dollars
The Tube needed for inside and outside: 800
Contractor: ? I guess around 500.
so still around 3600, but now I can pay about 1300 in Home depot cards I have.

Do contractors install Hearth systems? or should i stick to the sales installer. I have asked if the hearth
sales installer would install a home depot stove and they all said "no way"

I think I am finally pulling the trigger on this guy. I just found out that alot of people are offering me free cut wood.

PICTURE BELOW:
this is where i plan on placing it, that open windows on top is my master bedroom. I have a fireplace on the opposite side of the house but really want a stand alone stove since it would be closer. Also note: the front of my house has a heavy pitch. my wife said we should place the stove under the painting.

thanx for your time.
